La Porta ('the door' in Italian) is a concept Chicago bar that caters to those who stay "up all night beneath mosque lamps whose brass cupolas are bright as our souls, because like them they are illuminated by the internal glow of electric hearts". The brand is inspired by Italian futurism, ancient Rome (two headed Janus is the god of doors, beginnings, and ends - this is exmplified by the intersecting two heads that forms a doorway in their overlap) through modern Italy.

The use of chunky custom typography and energetic colors imparts a fresh, bold feeling to the bar, and makes you want to stand up and shout "Let us go! Here may be the very first sunrise on earth!"

Maybe not but the energy certainly is there.
